About Us

We are a group of three 14 year old students : Daniel Etches, Edward Penfound, and Luke Everitt. We all share a great passion for history and wanted to build upon our knowledge of the evacuation of Dunkirk through a first hand trip and experience. We learnt about the Henry Morris Foundation through an assembly in our school and decided to take this new opportunity given to us. With months of planning, preparation and the throwing around of ideas we came to the conclusion of a WW2 themed trip to Dunkirk. We then had our interview from the Henry Morris Foundation at Queens College, Cambridge and a week later we received an email saying that we had acquired the funding. From this trip we learnt many things which you can read about in the "What We Learnt" section. In the future we hope to go on another WW2 themed trip and we would all like to thank the wonder that is the Henry Morris Foundation for this incredible opportunity we have been given and we hope to encourage others our age to take this opportunity and have their own adventures.
